Windows Mobile 7 Development : System requirement and setup the development environment

Windows Phone 7 is the latest mobile operating system from Microsoft. This offers .NET developers a chance to get in on the mobile application explosion that has happened in recent years.

So lets start with setting up the development platform first.

System requirement and environment setup:

Operating system : Windows Vista or Windows 7
Graphics Card : DirectX 10 capable graphics card
Install the development tool from here : Windows7 Phone development tool

After downloading the the tool. Install the tool, which will contains:

- Visual Studio 2010 Express
- XNA Game Studio 4.0
- Windows Phone Emulator
- Microsoft Expression Blend for Windows Phone
- Platforms : Silverlight, .NET Framework 4.0
